Overview

Sellbrite is a multichannel listing and inventory hub for small and mid-size sellers. GoDaddy acquired it in April 2019; it still runs as a subsidiary. You keep one product record, push listings to Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Google, Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, and pull orders back. The cross-border use is simple: stop selling a unit on eBay while Amazon still shows it in stock.

It is not a China-market ERP (Lingxing, Mabang), and it is not ScanLister, the barcode listing tool this catalog previously used as the homepage. Sellbrite’s edge is US-centric connectors and a relatively simple UI. The costs are non-real-time sync, thin international listing, and a slower roadmap under GoDaddy. Shopify App Store ratings sit around 4.0: long-tenure sellers call it solid; others report oversells.

Plans are billed on monthly order count, excluding Amazon FBA orders — a real break for hybrid FBA sellers who also list on eBay or Shopify.

Core features and advantages

One master catalog, many channels

Help-center matrix: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Google, and Walmart get inventory/price sync, listing import, listing create/edit, and order import. Newegg and Sears sync stock/price and import orders but cannot create or edit listings inside Sellbrite. Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce get the full listing set. International connectors expose fewer features than US ones.

Inventory sync and oversell risk

Sellbrite pushes quantities to connected channels. Free sync is about every two hours; paid plans commonly every 15 minutes. That is not real time. Flash sales still oversell inside the 15-minute window — a recurring Reddit and Shopify-review theme. Sellers keep a buffer (show 8 when they hold 10). Edit quantity in Sellbrite, not on the marketplace, or links desync.

Orders, shipping, and FBA add-on

Paid plans can add FBA Integration at $19/month (annual pricing page): import FBA stock to sell elsewhere and route multi-channel orders to MCF. Shipping labels, order splitting, and API access are widely reported as Pro 2K ($179/month) gates. Below that volume, pair Sellbrite with ShipStation or similar if you need labels.

Supported platforms

US-led: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Google, Newegg, Sears; carts: Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce. Listing creation on some international sites (e.g. eBay Canada) may be missing. No native TikTok Shop or Temu. EU malls need a different stack. Confirm Jet and other legacy names on the live help matrix and status page.

Who it's for

  • US SMBs on 3–5 channels, tens to two thousand orders a month, catalogs in the low thousands of SKUs.
  • FBA plus other channels, because FBA orders do not consume the plan cap.
  • Skip it for EU-wide malls, true real-time stock, warehouse WMS, or automation past 2,000 orders a month.

Concrete use case: Shopify as the master store, Amazon and eBay as extra shelves. Make Sellbrite the quantity source, freeze manual stock edits on channels, set a two-unit buffer on runners, and test whether 15-minute sync survives a promo.

Pricing and value

Checked 2026-09-06 on sellbrite.com/pricing-pro (annual-equivalent monthly prices): Forever Free $0, up to 30 orders; Pro 100 $29 / 100 orders; Pro 500 $79 / 500; Pro 2K $179 / 2,000. FBA orders never count toward those caps. FBA add-on +$19/month (not on Free). 14-day unlimited trial, no card. Monthly billing costs more than the annual numbers; toggle billing on the page. The 30-order Free plan is a real plan, not a teaser.

Community feedback

Capterra is about 4.6 on a few dozen reviews. Shopify comments split between decade-long users with ~4,000 SKUs (“basic but solid”) and complaints about sync lag, variant caps, and eBay condition fields. An r/ecommerce post in 2025 said GoDaddy-era work is maintenance, and eBay clothing condition granularity never caught up. r/dropshipping users blamed Sellbrite delay for flash-sale oversells. The status page logged short incidents and an Etsy disconnect in August 2026. The subreddit is dead; support is in-app chat and email.

Competitive positioning

GeekSeller leans brand automation. Dianxiaomi and Lingxing are Chinese multi-platform ERPs with purchasing and warehouse modules. Sellbrite is lighter, USD-priced in public, and ignores FBA orders in the quota. It is not a scan-listing gun (ScanLister) and not a repricer (SellerEngine / Sellery).

Alternatives

  • GeekSeller — brand-oriented multichannel automation.
  • Dianxiaomi — Chinese multi-platform ERP for listings and fulfillment.
  • Lingxing ERP — heavier Amazon-plus operations suite.

Limitations

15-minute to 2-hour sync. Weak international listing. No TikTok Shop. Slow innovation. Labels and API sit on the top tier. Free cannot add FBA. Feature requests queue. Do not treat it as a WMS.

Verdict

Still a reasonable US 3–5 channel tool if you want FBA stock on eBay/Shopify and can live with 15-minute sync. Validate on the free 30 orders. Look elsewhere for EU coverage or second-level inventory. Do not use scanlister.com as the official site.

Next step: start the 14-day trial at sellbrite.com, connect two channels, prove inventory write-back, then pick Pro 100 or higher.
