Overview

Keywords Everywhere is a Chrome, Firefox, and Edge extension that overlays keyword metrics on sites you already use. Cross-border sellers care about two jobs: Google-side volume and CPC for an independent store or Shopping campaign, and a quick demand sniff while browsing Amazon, eBay, or Etsy. It is not an Amazon keyword ranker and it is not Google Keyword Planner inside Ads.

The honest Amazon caveat is in the vendor’s own FAQ: only Google publishes search volume. On Amazon, YouTube, and similar sites the extension shows Google volume for that query, not native marketplace search volume. Treat the Amazon overlay as “do people search this on Google?”, then confirm listing language with an Amazon tool if you sell FBA.

Paid data is credit-based and billed annually. Free install still shows related-keyword widgets, traffic/Moz-style metrics, social engagement insights, and prompt templates. Volume, CPC, competition, and trend charts need a free API key plus credits. There is no Safari build and no mobile app.

Core features and advantages

SERP overlay: volume, CPC, competition, trends

On Google, a paid search shows monthly volume, CPC, and advertiser competition under the box, plus related, People Also Search For, and long-tail widgets. One Google results page can consume dozens of credits (official example: 1 + 8 related + 20 PASF + 25 long-tail = 54). Settings can load metrics only on click so you do not burn credits while browsing. Historical trend charts for Google and YouTube go back to 2004 on paid plans.

Amazon, YouTube, and other commerce sites

The same overlay appears on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, YouTube, Bing, and DuckDuckGo. That is useful when you are already in Amazon search choosing a product name: you see whether the English phrase has Google demand before you spend on samples. It is not Helium 10 Cerebro. Official FAQ: marketplace volumes are Google’s numbers. Use it to prioritize Google-facing copy and ads, not to forecast Amazon conversion.

Bulk tools, gap analysis, API

Paid plans add bulk keyword upload, bulk trends, competitor keyword gap, and a REST API / MCP server that shares the same credit pool. Domain “keywords this site ranks for” is capped by plan (top 1,000 on Bronze up to 10,000 on Platinum). That is SEO-shaped, not FBA inventory-shaped.

Supported platforms

Extension: Chrome, Firefox, Edge only. Sites called out by the vendor include Google Search, Search Console, Analytics, Keyword Planner, Trends, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, plus free engagement metrics on Instagram, Pinterest, and X. Language coverage is strongest in English; official FAQ lists Global, US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India as primary locations, with thinner Latin-alphabet coverage elsewhere.

Who it's for

  • Independent-store and Google Ads sellers who live in the SERP and want Planner-class numbers without opening Ads every time.
  • Amazon/eBay/Etsy sellers who also buy Google traffic or write English titles and want a cheap overlay—not a replacement for marketplace keyword tools.
  • Skip it if you only need Amazon search volume, if you work mainly in Chinese/Japanese queries (English-first database), or if you need Safari/mobile.

Concrete use case: you are naming a US independent-store SKU that you also list on Amazon. Search the candidate title on Google with metrics-on-click enabled, export related terms, then run the shortlist in Keyword Planner for the US. Do not treat the number under Amazon’s search box as Amazon search volume when you set PPC bids.

Pricing and value

Official compare-plans page (checked 2026-09-06), annual only, no monthly billing:

| Plan | Price | Credits / year | Seats | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Bronze | $84/year (~$7/mo) | 100,000 | 1 | | Silver | $168/year (~$14/mo) | 400,000 | 3 | | Gold | $480/year (~$40/mo) | 2,000,000 | 10 | | Platinum | $1,440/year (~$120/mo) | 8,000,000 | 20 |

One credit = volume + CPC + competition + 12-month trend for one keyword. Credits expire 12 months after purchase (oldest first). Silver+ bundles SEO Minion; Gold+ adds Keyword Keg and courses; Platinum adds priority email. Enterprise: enterprise@keywordseverywhere.com. Free features do not use credits. For most solo sellers Bronze is enough if you click-to-load; leaving every widget on will empty 100k faster than the sticker implies.

Community feedback

r/SEO threads call it good value if you conserve credits; the recurring tip is “only load data when I click.” Chrome Web Store rating is cited by the vendor as 4.5/5 from 5,700+ reviews, 1.6M+ users—treat those as vendor figures. Complaints: credits expire in a year, a Google search can cost 50+ credits, it is not Ahrefs. Trustpilot discussions mention email support (help@keywordseverywhere.com) as responsive. Amazon-seller subreddits do not treat it as FBA infrastructure.

Competitive positioning

Keyword Planner is free, first-party, and lives in Ads (often volume ranges without spend). Wordtracker is a paid desk with its own database. Keyword Surfer is a lighter Chrome overlay. Keywords Everywhere’s pitch is metrics on the page you are already on, including Amazon/YouTube, plus a cheap annual credit pack. It does not replace a full SEO suite or Amazon rank data.

Alternatives

  • Google Keyword Planner — first-party Google volume, competition, and bids inside Ads.
  • Wordtracker — paid keyword expansion, KEI, and rank lists without a browser overlay.
  • Keyword Surfer — free Chrome overlay of queries and monthly volumes on Google.

Limitations

Amazon/YouTube numbers are Google volume. Credits burn on every related widget. Annual billing and 12-month expiry. English-first. No Safari, no phone. Not a rank tracker (vendor points to a separate Website Ranking Checker). Not an Amazon PPC or listing optimizer. Privacy: keywords are sent to their server to fetch metrics; vendor says they are not stored.

Verdict

Pay for Bronze if you already live in Google/YouTube/Amazon search and want inline volume without an SEO suite. Use click-to-load. For Amazon-only keyword work, skip it. Pair with Keyword Planner for campaign forecasts.

Next step: install from keywordseverywhere.com, add the free API key, turn on click-to-load, and only then buy Bronze if you actually need volume numbers.
