Overview
GST Lab (深圳市通规技术检测有限公司, General Standard Testing) is a third-party laboratory founded around 2007. It is not a tax authority and it is not the Goods and Services Tax filing system used in Australia, India, or Canada. Cross-border sellers come here for CPC, ASTM children’s standards, CE/UKCA, FCC, UN38.3, ISTA packaging, and Amazon TIC “design verification” (DV) on the attribute. The site lists CNAS, CPSC (Lab ID 1420), CMA, and ISTA credentials, and a 2020 note that Amazon accepted GST as a platform compliance provider.

Amazon DV / TIC and CPC
Children’s toys and juvenile products on US/CA often need a TIC-lab report plus CPC and CPSC eFiling. GST says results can sync into Amazon so sellers do not upload the wrong PDF. Marketing pages have cited roughly seven working days on rush and about fifteen on a standard comparison — treat those as queue estimates, not a contract SLA. North American children’s reports are commonly valid for a year; you retest before peak, you do not file once and forget.
CE, FCC, UKCA, and UN38.3
The menu includes CE, CPC, FCC, UKCA, GCC, FDA registration, UL/CSA/ETL, UN38.3, GPSR, MSDS/SDS, and ISTA. Lithium cells blocked by Amazon or airlines need UN38.3 and transport identification before listing, not as an attachment to a VAT return. Cosmetics follow SCPN, CPSR, CPNP paths that have nothing to do with a VAT number.
Lab credentials and sample handling
Copy describes several thousand square metres in Shenzhen, plus Dongguan. You ship samples; you do not generate a certificate in the browser. Use the CPSC and CNAS numbers on the report header. Amazon rejects TIC work from labs that are not on the list, which is how brokered “reports” fail review.
Supported platforms
Work is aimed at Amazon US, Canada, Europe, and UK listing gates, and similar toy/CPC asks on Temu. It does not fill Seller Central VAT forms and it does not register German packaging or WEEE. GPSR still needs an EU authorised representative even if the lab issued the test.

Concrete use: when Amazon flags DV or children’s compliance, match the ASIN category and destination standard (ASTM F963 is not EN71), ship samples and packaging, and require CPSC/CNAS IDs on the header. A factory “declaration of conformity” is not a CPC.

There is no public rate card. Directory listings say quote by phone. Promo pages mention volume and rush discounts; amounts are unverified. Fees move with SKU, standard mix, and peak queues. A failed resubmission usually costs more than shopping a cheaper broker.
