Overview
eVAT Master (欧税通) is a Shenzhen-built compliance SaaS. Cross-border sellers use it to register VAT numbers in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and other markets, upload marketplace sales reports, calculate VAT, and submit returns. The company says it was the first Chinese platform with API links into the tax authorities of those five European countries, and the site also handles tax payments, inbound tax-office mail, and VAT/EORI lookups.
It is not a landed-cost widget for Shopify checkout, and it does not become the “deemed supplier” for a marketplace. Who files depends on the flow. On Amazon and similar malls, B2C imports into the EU at or under €150 are usually collected under the platform’s IOSS number. If you hold FBA or 3PL stock in an EU country or the UK, you still register and file local VAT. Low-value parcels from a non-EU webshop to EU consumers need an IOSS intermediary who files a monthly IOSS return. Australia GST, Canada GST, and Japan JCT appear as separate rows on the price list — they are not extras bundled into EU VAT.
The product site lists a 6 February 2020 launch; company materials often say 2019. On 2026-09-06, evatmaster.com and its price page loaded normally. Sales phones on the footer: +86 13632733854 and +86 18928475471.
Core features and advantages
VAT registration, agent transfer, and deregistration
You buy a country package, then submit a business licence, ID, and store details. UK and Germany are the volume SKUs; France, Spain, Poland, Czechia, the Netherlands, Austria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are also listed. Agent transfer is for sellers who already have a VAT number parked with another filer. Deregistration is the shutdown step — an unused number can still attract nil-return obligations.
Calculation and one-click filing
The official tutorial is: pick the country, upload the sales report, review input VAT, then submit. UK filings go through HMRC Making Tax Digital. Germany follows the Finanzamt’s monthly or quarterly calendar. The software shows a calculation breakdown so you confirm the return instead of handing arithmetic to a clerk. Rejected filings show a reason in the detail view.
Mail, multi-VAT accounts, and EORI
Paper letters land at a local address and are OCR’d into the account. One login can hold several companies and numbers. VAT/EORI lookup matters when Amazon Europe checks that a number is live — a dead number can freeze FBA. EORI is often sold with UK or German registration.
Supported platforms
Sales data can be uploaded as CSV/XLSX or pulled from Amazon. The audience is Chinese sellers on Amazon, eBay, Temu and similar channels, plus some independent sites shipping to Europe, the UK, the Gulf, Japan, Australia, and Canada. eVAT Master is not a Shopify app and does not collect duty at checkout. EPR, EU/UK authorised representative, lab testing, trademarks, and overseas company setup are add-on SKUs from the same group.
Who it's for
- Solo sellers and small teams with UK or German FBA stock who want an annual filing subscription instead of a traditional agent’s per-return fee.
- Mid-size multi-marketplace sellers who need one inbox for several VAT numbers and tax-office letters.
- DTC brands whose marketplace does not collect VAT — they must ask who signs IOSS and who remits the tax.
- Skip it if you only sell on US Amazon and the mall already withholds tax, or if you need counsel for an audit. A SaaS return will not litigate a dispute.
Concrete use: register German VAT before you create the first FBA inbound. Do not wait for a reminder on the first return — UK VAT is often quarterly with about one month and seven days after period end; German monthly returns are commonly due around the 10th of the following month. If your own-site parcels stay under €150 and ship straight to EU consumers, confirm whether you need your IOSS intermediary, not the German FBA VAT number.
Pricing and value
Checked on evatmaster.com/ost/price on 2026-09-06 (promo / struck-through list price, CNY per year unless noted):
- UK VAT registration 218; agent transfer 129 (list 218); deregistration 398
- Germany VAT registration / transfer 299 (list 518); deregistration 500
- France VAT registration / transfer 1,380 (list 1,680); deregistration 500
- Spain VAT registration 1,380 (list 1,880); transfer 1,080 (list 1,580)
- Australia GST registration 7,980 (list 10,800); transfer 6,580 (list 9,580)
- Canada GST registration 6,980 (list 10,800); transfer 6,580 (list 9,580)
- Japan JCT 2,980 (list 4,580)
Poland, Czechia, the Netherlands, Austria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Belgium, Sweden, and Switzerland sit on the same page; Belgium and Switzerland list much higher starting prices. Mexico RFC showed “price not configured”. Government fees, bonds, rush handling, and audits are extra. Recheck the cart before paying.
For most UK/DE FBA sellers the annual fee is cheaper than one missed-return penalty. AU/CA GST and Japan JCT should be compared with a local accountant.
Community feedback
Hugo and Chinese seller directories treat eVAT Master as a mainstream VAT SaaS. Threads focus on UK/DE processing time, extra documents, and switching agents. There is little long-form English discussion on Reddit — the user base is Chinese, and chatter lives in WeChat groups and Hugo comments, not r/AmazonSeller. Complaints match the category: tax-office timelines slip, letter translations need watching, promo prices may not match next year’s debit. Support is WeChat plus sales@evatmaster.com, not a 24/7 English desk.
Competitive positioning
The differentiator is the five-country tax-authority API plus a public price list. Wincomply plays the same field but leans harder on EPR, authorised representative, and trademarks, without a full public VAT menu. Itaxs (跨税云) used to sell UK/DE self-filing; on 2026-09-06 its domains were parked for sale, so it is not a live portal. Zonos prices landed cost at DTC checkout and does not issue a German FBA VAT number. Traditional agents still win on audit defence, usually at a higher unit price.
Alternatives
- Wincomply: use when you also need EPR, an EU representative, and trademarks.
- Zonos: checkout duty and VAT collection for independent stores, not Amazon VAT returns.
- Itaxs: a historical peer; the site is not usable — do not upload sales reports there.
Limitations
Bad source files produce bad returns. An API link does not mean the tax office issues a number the same day. IOSS, OSS, and warehouse-country VAT are not interchangeable. Belgium and Switzerland look expensive for small sellers. Buying VAT does not include packaging EPR or product tests.
Verdict
Use eVAT Master when you store or sell in the UK or core EU and must file VAT yourself. Skip a second IOSS purchase if the marketplace already collects import VAT on sub-€150 B2C. Confirm AU/CA GST or Japan JCT obligations before you pay those SKUs.
Next step: create an account at evatmaster.com, check the live country price on the product page, and email sales@evatmaster.com or call the footer numbers if the scenario is IOSS versus local VAT.
