Overview
WorldFirst is a cross-border payments brand founded in London in 2004 and part of Ant International since 2019. For China-based marketplace sellers the working product is 万里汇 on worldfirst.com.cn: local receiving accounts for Amazon and other platforms, conversion, and withdrawal to a Chinese bank card or Alipay. The international World Account on worldfirst.com is the same brand aimed at SMEs paying and collecting globally.
Official China seller pages state a connection to 130+ ecommerce platforms and 20+ mainstream collection currencies, plus a published B2C withdrawal cap of 0.3%. “As low as 0%” appears on the same pages as a volume or promo line — it is not a guaranteed rate for every new store. LinkedIn and company materials cite 1.5M–1.6M businesses served since 2004; treat that as first-party marketing.
Use it when RMB settlement and Alipay payout matter. Open the ecommerce World Account (not the B2B-only account) at the official site, finish KYC so the legal name matches the Amazon entity, then compare a live quote with Payoneer, PingPong and Airwallex.
Core features and advantages
Local receiving accounts for marketplaces
The ecommerce account issues local details in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, MXN and other currencies so Amazon and similar platforms can pay as a domestic transfer. Official copy lists 130+ platforms and 30+ payment gateways. Bind the matching currency to each marketplace (USD for amazon.com, EUR for the EU 8, GBP for the UK, JPY for Japan). Same-name collection tightened in 2025 on the China product — bind the account that matches the store’s legal owner.
FX and withdrawal to bank or Alipay
China B2C pages and the help centre publish a withdrawal fee cap of 0.3%, with lower rates as volume rises and occasional 0% coupons for new or large accounts. Opening, account maintenance and inbound credit are marketed as free. Withdrawal destinations include onshore RMB bank accounts, foreign-currency accounts and Alipay; seller write-ups often describe same-day or next-day RMB arrival on business days, including some weekend processing. “Zero FX loss” is a marketing phrase: the rate you confirm on screen is the rate that matters.
World Card and outbound payments
World Card (万里付) is a Mastercard for ads, procurement and travel from the WorldFirst balance, in a advertised set of major currencies. Virtual cards are described as having no issue or annual fee; a physical card has a published issue fee. From August 2026 the China help centre added a small-ticket fee (for example 0.60 USD on USD purchases at or under 50 USD). Outbound payments also cover 1688 跨境宝, VAT, payroll-style payouts and WorldFirst-to-WorldFirst transfers. B2B WorldTrade is a separate card-acquiring / trade-guarantee product.
Supported platforms
China ecommerce pages: Amazon (North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and other sites), TikTok Shop, Walmart, Shopee, Lazada, SHEIN, Wish, AliExpress and a longer list that changes. Independent-store gateways are a separate application. B2B World Account does not collect Amazon — the official help answer is to register the ecommerce World Account instead. International worldfirst.com lists 130+ marketplace collections and 20+ collection currencies with “zero fees” to receive in some regions; regional fee schedules still apply to FX and payout.
Who it's for
- China-entity Amazon / TikTok Shop sellers who want RMB to a bank card or Alipay without a personal overseas card.
- Multi-site teams that can keep original-currency balances (EUR, GBP, JPY) and convert when the rate is usable.
- Sellers paying 1688, ads or VAT from the same wallet.
- Skip it if you need Payoneer’s named marketplace directory in a country where WorldFirst is not a deposit option, or if you want a full multi-entity spend and checkout stack (Airwallex). Do not register a B2B account to collect FBA.
Concrete use case: a Shenzhen seller binds WorldFirst USD and EUR accounts to amazon.com and amazon.de, lets weekly FBA disbursements land, converts part to CNY for factory deposits (Alipay or corporate card), and leaves EUR for a European warehouse invoice. Compare that day’s all-in rate with PingPong before you make it the only rail.
Pricing and value
Pricing is promotional and account-specific. What is officially published for the China ecommerce product:
- Account open / maintain / inbound credit: marketed as free
- B2C withdrawal: 0.3% cap, lower with volume; 0% is promo or large-account, not universal
- FX: company claims a transparent quote with “0 汇损”; verify against a mid-market print
- World Card: virtual cards marketed with no annual fee; physical card issue fee (help centre has listed 3.99 USD); small-ticket fee from August 2026
- Enterprise: custom terms if monthly store flow exceeds about 500,000 USD (China key-account page)
Do not put “0 fee + $25 bonus” in a cost model — that was old campaign copy. The only rate that counts is the one on the withdrawal confirmation.
Community feedback
知乎 and 雨果网 treat 万里汇 as a mainstream Amazon collection rail for China sellers, with Alipay payout and relatively fast RMB arrival as the usual praise. Practical caveats from seller posts: legal-name matching after 2025 rule tightening, and B2B versus ecommerce account mix-ups. International Trustpilot threads in 2026 include name-field locks, missing inbound credits and Amazon KDP refund disputes — typical payments-platform complaints, not proof the China product is down. Independent blogs that still quote a “default 1%” are stale relative to the official 0.3% cap; still check your own dashboard.
Competitive positioning
WorldFirst’s differentiators for this catalog are Ant International, Alipay withdrawal, and a published 0.3% B2C cap. PingPong competes on China licences, early payout and tax add-ons. Payoneer competes on how many marketplaces already list it. Airwallex competes as a global operating account with cards and checkout, not as a China-FBA specialist. Dual-home any store whose weekly disbursement you cannot afford to freeze.
Alternatives
Limitations
0% is not the list price. Same-name rules can break Amazon EU binding. The B2B account will not take marketplace payouts. World Card small-ticket fees add up on ad-account micro-charges. International and China sites differ. Compliance holds still exist; Ant branding is not a guarantee of instant support.
Verdict
Use WorldFirst’s ecommerce account when you are a China-entity marketplace seller who needs local receiving details and RMB or Alipay payout. Confirm the live withdrawal rate against PingPong and Payoneer. Do not use the B2B account for Amazon. Data notes
Rechecked 2026-09-06 against worldfirst.com.cn (home, online-sellers, help-centre fee and World Card articles) and worldfirst.com/global. The 0.3% cap is official China B2C language; 0% is promotional. monthlyVisits (12345), domainRating and authorityScore are inherited catalog figures and unverified. Customer and volume totals are first-party. Old “$25 withdrawal bonus” copy was not found as a current standard offer.
