Overview

Pangolinfo Scrape API is a developer API for Amazon pages, not a click-and-filter research SaaS. Cross-border sellers and agencies wire it into sourcing databases, offer monitors, review pipelines, and repricers: one POST returns product, search, Best Seller, seller, or review payloads as JSON, HTML, or Markdown, while proxies, fingerprints, and CAPTCHAs stay on Pangolinfo’s side.

It replaces the cost of babysitting residential proxies and broken CSS selectors. It does not replace Keepa’s multi-year price chart. Requests can include a delivery zipcode so prices and availability match a location — the difference between a New York offer and a California offer on the same ASIN. The vendor cites about a 99% success rate and 30 million Amazon calls per day; those figures are first-party claims, not an audit.

Credits are shared with AMZ Data Tracker, Pangolinfo’s no-code tracker. Docs list 13 Amazon marketplaces (US, DE, UK, JP, FR, IT, ES, CA, AU, MX, SA, AE, BR, and related codes). This is not an ERP, and it is not legal advice: callers must judge robots.txt, Amazon’s terms, and local law themselves.

Core features and advantages

Structured Amazon pages and ZIP-level offers

The same endpoint https://scrapeapi.pangolinfo.com/api/v1/scrape switches parsers via parserName (product detail, search, rank, seller, reviews). bizContext.zipcode pins delivery location; if omitted, the backend picks a random ZIP for that marketplace. Docs list example codes (US 10041 / 90001, and equivalents for other stores). A follow-seller script that only hits the default PDP will treat one warehouse’s price as national.

Reviews, Rufus, and raw HTML

The Amazon Review API costs 5 credits per successful call, with star filters and sort. An Amazon Alexa / Rufus conversation parser is documented at 6 credits. AI Overview, keyword trends, maps, and WIPO design-patent endpoints exist on the same credit ledger. Raw HTML or Markdown is billed at 0.75 credits, cheaper than structured JSON (1 credit on a product page). Sync, async, and batch submit are documented.

A credit ledger, not unlimited concurrency

You buy monthly credits, not “unlimited successful pages.” Product scrape is usually 1 credit; reviews are 5; some category/niche filters cost more. Credits are issued per billing month and do not roll over (official FAQ). That is cheaper than a crawl farm if you actually consume the quota, and wasteful if the plan sits idle.

Supported platforms

Amazon is the core. Product-scrape docs name 13 marketplace codes (amz_us, amz_jp, and so on). Review docs sometimes list a shorter set — re-check current docs before you budget review jobs. There is also a general scrape API, SERP, maps, and WIPO. Walmart appears in some marketing copy; this entry treats documented Amazon parsers as the supported surface. There is no Shopify OAuth and no operator-facing Chrome research suite.

Who it's for

  • Mid-size sellers and agencies with engineers who need live price, review, and ZIP stock in their own tools.
  • Data products and AI apps that want Markdown/JSON rather than copied PDPs.
  • Skip it if you do not write API clients and only need a BSR chart (Keepa / SellerSprite), or if you read “99% success” as permission to ignore marketplace terms.

Concrete use case: before matching a US offer, call amzProductDetail twice with ZIP 10041 and 90001, compare landed price to your FBA fees, and only then decide whether the listing is followable — instead of trusting the default detail page.

Pricing and value

Checked 2026-09-06 on official docs and pricing: Starter 9,600 credits / $19 month; Professional 60,000 / $99; Expert 240,000 / $369; 20% off annual. Add-on packs $35 per 20,000 credits. Enterprise is custom. New accounts advertise 60 free requests without a card. Credits expire at month end. Starter is usually enough for tens of ASINs a day; review-heavy jobs burn quota five times faster. Recalculate on pangolinfo.com/pricing with your real parser mix.

Community feedback

Pangolinfo is discussed far less on Reddit than Oxylabs or ScrapingBee. Mentions cluster in Chinese seller directories and vendor case blurbs (“less parser maintenance,” “ZIP works”). This catalog does not invent forum quotes. Run the free allotment against your ASINs and locales and watch timeouts and empty JSON before you trust the homepage success rate.

Competitive positioning

Keepa’s API sells history and BSR, not live DOM. SellerSprite and Asinhunt are research products with optional APIs, not “any Amazon URL + ZIP” collection. Generic crawlers such as Crawlbase do not ship Amazon field parsers. Pangolinfo’s edge is those parsers and zipcode; the trade-off is a credit model, marketplace coverage that follows the docs, and legal risk on the caller.

Alternatives

  • Keepa — price/BSR history and charts when you do not want to parse pages.
  • Asinhunt — product research UI, not an engineering scrape layer.
  • SellerSprite — operator-facing Amazon research; API is a separate conversation.

Limitations

Not a no-code tool. Credits do not roll. Reviews and Rufus are expensive. Parsers can break when Amazon ships DOM changes. Universal-web coverage is thinner than large proxy networks. “Success” is a billing definition; empty bodies can still consume capacity. Collection may violate platform terms; this directory does not provide bypass advice.

Verdict

Buy Scrape API only if you have engineers and need ZIP-aware Amazon pages. Do not buy it as a Keepa substitute. Burn the free requests on your real ASINs, then pick a plan.

Next step: register at pangolinfo.com, read the API docs, and price credits on the official calculator with your review-to-product mix.

Data notes

Rechecked 2026-09-06 against pangolinfo.com pricing, docs.pangolinfo.com billing rules, and the Amazon Scrape API reference. published (2024-03-15), monthlyVisits, domainRating, and authorityScore are catalog placeholders and unverified. “99% success” and “30M calls/day” are vendor claims. Exact product launch day is unverified.
