Overview
MailZone (mumamail.com) is a Shenzhen-built direct-mail automation layer, not an ESP and not Amazon’s “Request a Review” button. You upload artwork and a recipient table; the vendor sends jobs to local print shops in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, then into domestic post. The homepage (checked 2026-09-06) lists no minimum — one piece is enough — U.S. postcards from CNY 5, other countries from CNY 8, and average delivery of about 5.5 business days in the U.S. and 6.1 in Europe. The ICP filing is 粤ICP备2021120685号; the footer still says ©2020.
DTC brands use it for thank-you cards, catalogs, and win-backs that actually get opened. The same console is also marketed as postcard “review invitation” against real order addresses. Paying or steering buyers toward a star rating can violate Amazon, eBay, and similar marketplace rules. This page describes print-and-post. It does not treat the vendor’s 8% reply example as your conversion, and it does not walk through incentivized reviews.
Core features and advantages
Local print and mixed formats
Coverage on the official site is major Western European and U.S. destinations, with about 12 postcard and letter sizes. Plants are described as connected to the production line, from 1 to 100,000 pieces. That is the point for a 50–200 piece copy test before a larger drop. Job status (order → print → out) is visible in the account. “2,000+ clients / 1.5 million pieces a month” is vendor copy, unverified.
Sub-accounts, billing, API
Dozens of sub-accounts can split brands or agencies. Finance is meant to be reconcilable per company. An API is offered for teams that already have an ERP or CRM; there is no public developer portal, so ask support for the spec before you promise a sprint.
Direct mail for your own list
A 2020 vendor story claims 762% ROI for a Shopify store (unverified, old). A defensible use: export delivered, complete-address orders from the last 30 days, mail a thank-you or restock card with no “five stars for cash” copy. Use your orders or a consented list. Do not buy address dumps.
Supported platforms
MailZone does not log into Amazon, Shopify, or eBay. You export addresses from an ERP or admin and upload them. Named destination countries on the homepage are the U.S., UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy; some Chinese directories add Canada and Japan — trust the in-app country list. It does not replace Klaviyo flows or the marketplace’s own review request.
Who it's for
- DTC / small brands that want a physical touch after delivery and can start at one piece.
- Marketplace sellers who will stay inside policy: spare-part instructions or a thank-you, not a review bounty.
- Mid-size ops that need sub-accounts and an API on top of an existing order export.
- Skip it if you only need Buyer-Seller Messaging, parcel-level tracking, or a scheme to “grow” ratings.
Concrete use: after U.S. Cyber Week, mail one standard card to 200 delivered, non-returned addresses. Put a short branded URL and a support inbox on the card. Measure clicks and repeat purchase two weeks later before you reprint.
Pricing and value
Public pricing is per piece, not a SaaS seat: U.S. postcards from CNY 5, other countries from CNY 8. Letters cost more (envelope + postage); live SKUs sit behind login. Online top-up is supported. Design, address hygiene, returns, and a second drop are extra. The “8% reply → ~CNY 56 per review” figure is a worked example at CNY 4.5/card, not a plan. Confirm destination and format prices in-account.
Community feedback
English-language Reddit barely mentions MailZone. What we can point to is a Bangyue interview with founder Phil and directory blurbs (for example AMZ123). Seller chats split on postcard review asks: some like the physical cue; others worry about incentivized-review policy and address misuse. We do not quote unverifiable reply rates. Competitive positioning
MailZone’s job is China-based sellers mailing physical pieces into Western local post. Klaviyo is email/SMS lifecycle, not a mailbox. Yotpo collects store reviews in-site and by email. Amazon’s native request is free and tightly templated. U.S. APIs such as Lob or Postalytics assume a local brand entity and card billing that many CN-entity sellers do not have.
Alternatives
- Klaviyo — cart, post-purchase, and win-back over email and SMS.
- Yotpo — on-site reviews and UGC without a postcard.
- Amazon — Seller Central’s official review request and the policy that governs it.
Limitations
Country coverage is Western-heavy; there is no public reach or return-rate table. Stated transit times are averages and slip in peak season. Tracking is not a courier scan trail. If you pair the vendor’s “review invite” copy with cashback, you may break marketplace rules. Mail cannot be recalled. The footer is still dated 2020; ask support what actually changed.
Verdict
Use MailZone when you need a small, China-billed physical drop into US/EU post and you already have artwork plus a clean address file. Do not treat it as a safe rating engine. Next step: register at mumamail.com, send 20–50 pieces of one format, and confirm live country prices with Max@mumamail.com.
Data notes
Rechecked 2026-09-06 against mumamail.com and the postcard/letter FAQ column. Piece prices, transit averages, and format counts are homepage copy from that visit. published (2024-03-15), monthlyVisits, domainRating, and authorityScore are catalog placeholders and unverified. Founding year is widely given as 2020; exact day unverified. 762% ROI, 1.5 million monthly pieces, and the 8% reply rate are vendor or old-case figures, unverified.
