Overview
Amazon Seller Forums is not a ticket queue and not a Chinese trade newspaper. It is the official community inside Seller Central: most threads are readable without logging in; posting, replying, and non-public discussions require an active selling account. In 2026 the public URL is sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums. Inside the console the path is Help → Get help and resources → Forums. The Seller app also opens the same community.
Cross-border sellers use it for a narrow job: a listing is suppressed, an FBA fee looks wrong, or the new Seller Central navigation hid a button. Search for a similar thread and any Community Manager reply, then write your own case. It does not replace Selling Partner Support or the policy pages. Threads in 2026 still warn about phishing: a stranger who DMs “I can reinstate you” is not Amazon.
The language switcher includes English (US), Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, Hindi, and others. Marketplace-specific forums exist (France, Australia, and so on). Chinese posts appear, but North America account-health threads are still mostly English on the US forum.
Core features and advantages
Category browse and old-thread search
The home page groups Account setup, Create and manage listings, Grow Your Business, Fulfillment, and similar topics. You can sort by latest activity, new threads, views, or votes. Community Managers pin explainers on navigation, Action Center, and the new Seller Central. Concrete use: if a European listing’s dimensions were overwritten and every order is unprofitable, search “dimension” or “FBA fee”, copy the screenshot pattern others used, then open your own case — do not paste tax IDs or bank details into the thread.
Community Managers are not Seller Support
Amazon’s own copy says Community Managers host the board, post education and polls, and remove guideline violations. Selling Partner Support remains the channel for account issues. On r/AmazonSeller the usual line is that a loud forum thread can attract attention, but reinstatement still goes through the appeal queue. Treating the forum as 24/7 support is how people get disappointed.
Marketplaces and mobile
US, UK, EU, AU, JP and other Seller Central sites have matching forums. Public threads are read-only for visitors; you must be logged into that marketplace’s selling account to participate. Locked-out sellers can read public posts but cannot bypass two-step verification through the forum.
Supported platforms
Amazon selling only (Seller Central; Vendor topics show up, but the product is a seller forum). It is not a Shopify, TikTok Shop, or DTC ads community. Policy answers follow the store you are logged into: a US thread will not settle Japan invoicing rules.
Who it's for
- Solo / small teams opening a store, FBA, or a first appeal — use it to see how others worded a performance notice.
- Mid-size and brands watching pinned posts on the new console, Amazon Business deals, or Account Health Assurance.
- Skip it if you do not sell on Amazon, if you only need a Chinese reviewer blacklist (卖家之家), or if you expected a lawyer or a policy PDF.
Concrete use: before a 200-unit FBA inbound, if storage fees jump a size tier, search Fulfillment for the same dimension complaint, decide whether Amazon changed the measurement or you packed wrong, then open a case for a fee correction.
Pricing and value
The forum is included with an Individual or Professional selling account. Professional subscription, FBA, and ads are separate Amazon bills. There is no VIP seat to buy. Anyone DMing a paid “pin this thread” service is a scam.
Community feedback
r/FulfillmentByAmazon and r/AmazonSeller treat the official forum as a place where a Community Manager might appear, and they warn about canned replies and phishing. Public 2026 threads still complain about return abuse, the new Seller Central, and fees eating small-seller margin. Chinese seller media more often translate policy posts than deep-link English threads. Forum rules ban personal attacks, spam links, and posting personal information.
Competitive positioning
The moat is a public discussion Amazon staff can see. 卖家之家 is a Chinese reviewer database. 雨果网 is policy long-form. AMZ123 is a bookmark home for Seller Central. Reddit is louder and unofficial. None of them replace the Case Log.
Alternatives
- 卖家之家 — Chinese news and the 测评 reviewer blacklist.
- 雨果网 — Chinese policy coverage and paid 雨课.
- AMZ123 — marketplace backend links and daily headlines.
Limitations
Posting needs a selling account; suspended sellers can only lurk. Reply quality varies; a staff reply is not a won case. Phishing and off-site “service” DMs are common. Chinese-language depth is thin. The forum does not calculate margin, rebuild PPC, or review contracts. New-console threads go stale fast.
Verdict
If you sell on Amazon, use Seller Forums as a search engine: find the pattern, then open a case. Do not use it as a chat with Support. For day-to-day Chinese news, use 卖家之家 or 雨果网.
Next step: open Seller Forums, search your issue by category, and return to Seller Central Help for the actual case. Do not leave a phone number in a thread.
