Amazon Sweden Seller Central (sellercentral.amazon.se) is the official console for amazon.se. Shoppers see Swedish and kronor (SEK). Sellers sit on an Amazon Europe Stores account that also switches into the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Türkiye, and others — you do not open a second email for Sweden. sell.amazon.se states the Professional plan at SEK 410 per month excluding VAT plus referral fees, and SEK 10 per unit on Individual. New accounts are set up to sell across Europe; you still choose which stores actually get offers.
Sweden is not most cross-border sellers’ first store. Volume is smaller than DE/UK. Customer service in the official local language is required (Europe Stores help). One Professional subscription covers the European stores where you have active listings (multi-store billing is described as a USD 39.99-equivalent split across local currencies — confirm in-account). The Sweden view shows orders and ads in SEK. Build International Listings can generate Swedish from a DE/UK catalogue. Buyer-seller messages still need Swedish. Weak Swedish shows up in account health before it shows up in ads.
Pan-European FBA and Swedish placement
Pan-EU FBA includes Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, and Ireland. Official copy: to get domestic fulfillment fees on Swedish and Dutch orders, you must enable placement in Germany. You can inbound to a Swedish fulfillment center or fulfill Swedish orders from other EU centers at EFN rates. Stock in Sweden can create a Swedish VAT registration obligation. Check VAT settings and an advisor before the first inbound; a German VAT ID is not a blanket.
Low-Price FBA and 2026 rates
sell.amazon.se/priser: Professional SEK 410 / month excl. VAT, Individual SEK 10 / unit, most referral fees about 7%–15%. Amazon’s 2026 Europe message cites an average cut around SEK 1.82 per unit across European stores — not your SKU. Low-Price FBA from 5 January 2026 covers more products at or below SEK 230. The 1.5% surcharge from 17 April 2026 sits on fulfillment fees. Branded-sales incentives have been advertised as 10% back on the first SEK 500,000 — windowed, not a perpetual rebate.
Supported platforms
This view is Amazon.se, on a Europe Stores login. UK VAT/customs after Brexit are a separate problem from EU stores. Türkiye is in the same switcher and is not EU VAT. Sweden is not Shopify and not a standalone Nordic mall. Keepa coverage for .se follows Keepa’s store list and is usually thinner than .de.

Concrete path: take a stable German standard-size home SKU, generate Swedish copy, confirm GPSR labels, keep FBA in Germany (EFN) or enable Swedish placement, and compare domestic vs EFN fees in the calculator including the 17 April 2026 1.5%. If you cannot answer Swedish buyer messages inside your SLA, do not open the store.

Referral fees extra; media categories can add closing fees. FBA, storage, ads, Pan-EU placement, and the fuel surcharge stack separately. Multi-store monthly fees follow the regional cap — you do not automatically pay another 410 for each extra EU flag.
Value is Nordic Prime demand, not a cheap plan. SEK 410 is the same band as €39 in euro stores. Without Swedish-language capacity, the subscription buys complaints.
Community feedback
English Reddit almost never treats Sweden as a home market; EU sellers describe it as a checkbox after Germany and the UK. Official help repeats local-language customer service. Japanese export guides often mark Swedish FBA as fulfilled via German (or other) centers, which matches EFN/Pan-EU. Complaints: hiring Swedish coverage, slow ad learning on a small store, VAT surprises after placing stock in Sweden. Competitive positioning
This is not a separate platform; it is a view on a Europe account. The real comparison is German Seller Central (traffic and FC gravity) and other newer EU stores such as the Netherlands. Türkiye shares the switcher and none of the VAT stack. Nordic malls such as CDON are not drop-in replacements in this catalogue. Keepa is not a store.

Limitations
Swedish-language support is a hard gate. The store is small; ads take longer to learn. Pan-EU placement scatters inventory and VAT registrations follow. The 1.5% surcharge from 17 April 2026 is extra. Low-Price FBA help only below SEK 230. The Sweden view does not teach GPSR. UK and Swedish inventory are not one customs zone.
Verdict
If Pan-EU FBA already works and you can staff Swedish, open the Sweden view as an add-on. As a first Nordic market or “free traffic,” it still does not work in 2026.
